Proposing In Cades Cove – Smoky Mountain Couple Photography

Love is in the air!  Last week, we had the honor of being a part of THREE marriage proposals!  You can see pictures of all three amazing couples on our Facebook page.  But for this post, we’re focusing on Walt and Heaven’s story…

Heaven had no idea that Walt had booked a photographer or that he was proposing in Cades Cove, so it took some careful planning!  Ron (the photographer) gave Walt directions to a specific location on Hyatt Lane.  Ron would be there in the field pretending to take pictures of the surrounding Mountains.  When the couple arrived at the location, Walt suggested that they get out and take a picture with their phones in this beautiful part of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  They got out of the car and walked into the field where Ron was waiting (but she had no idea he was there to photograph them!!!).  As Heaven was admiring the beautiful view, Walt got on one knee and asked her to be his wife!  After she said “yes”, they all spent the next two hours taking pictures around Cades Cove.  Everything worked out EXACTLY as planned!
